Winter is the time of year when the garden can be quite dramatic. The stark
forms, textures, and colors of plants often stand out in the dormant landscape.
Rick Lewandowski will discuss opportunities to enhance your garden with a wide
range of plants that can extend the season and add spice to your Winter garden.
Rick Lewandowski has been the director at Mt. Cuba Center for ten years
and was formerly the director of horticulture at the Morris Arboretum of the
University of Pennsylvania for seven years. Rick has published numerous articles
about gardening and horticulture and currently is a featured monthly columnist
for The News Journal, Wilmington, Delaware.
