Ansel Adams made his original contribution to the art of photography as a photographer of the landscape – its large vistas and its intimate details. It is on this work that his importance as an artists will be measured and will be the focus of the exhibition.

One of the most famous and creative American artists of the late nineteenth century,
heralded on both sides of the Atlantic. Born of American parents living abroad, in Florence, John Singer Sargent retained a
strong and long-lasting association with the land of his birth. This Italian connection is the focus of this exhibition.
